In between Israel and Jordan lies the lowest place on earth, otherwise known as the Dead Sea. This body of water has its own unique and spectacular atmosphere. Although its extremely salty waters do not allow for aquatic life to survive, the Dead Sea has been a natural health mecca for thousands of years.

Jake Tapper, ABC News' Senior White House Correspondent reports President Obama meets with King Abdullah of Jordan at the White House. Later, the president will host a White House reception in honor of Jewish American Heritage Month. Still on the topic of Middle East activity, White Press Secretary Jay Carney reminded the press aboard Air Force One that the president will be speaking about the progress and change in the region in a speech this coming Thursday, though he declined to talk about specifics of the speech.
