West Bank unrest: Tensions rise between Israelis and Palestinians It's been an uneasy first day of the New Year in the West Bank, where bulldozers backed by Israeli police have demolished a Palestinian house and buildings in Jerusalem which had been constructed illegally without the correct permits.
