Dec. 9 (Bloomberg) -- A New York City policeman shot and killed a man armed with a knife inside a Brooklyn synagogue early this morning after he stabbed another man and lunged at officers who ordered him to drop the weapon, the police said. Officers were called to Chabad-Lubavitch World Headquarters on Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights at about 1:41 a.m.
