President Reuvin Rivlin holds land deeds he purchased from a Palestinian in the West Bank 40 years ago while speaking at the Jerusalem Conference. (photo credit:YISRAEL BARDOGO) In a possible harbinger signaling an official shift in government policy, President Reuvin Rivlin on Monday said he supported the full annexation of the West Bank, in exchange for complete Israeli citizenship and equal rights granted to Palestinian residents. Nearly 25 years ago I traveled to Poland to participate in the March of the Living, to study the history of the Holocaust and to examine the roots of prejudice, intolerance and hate, as the programs website explains. Our group visited Nazi death camps and Jewish ghost towns, seeking to gain a better understanding of the destruction that happened there. In every place we visited, we could feel the presence of lost Jewish life.
