A deli owner in Flemington, New Jersey, sparked controversy for a sign that called on people to celebrate "White History Month." Jim Boggess, owner of Jimbo's Deli, told the Hunterdon County Democrat his sign was put up to encourage everyone to be proud of who they are.

To foster a stronger connection between youths and their identity within the Jewish community, Chabad of Cobb welcomed Rabbi Gedalya Hertz and his wife, Ruthy, as the congregations new youth directors July 1.
