Image: Associated Press (AP) Twitter has finally booted David Duke, a former KKK grand wizard and founder of the KKK revival group the Knights of the KuKlux Klan. Why has it taken years for a company whose policies explicitly bar individuals who affiliate with and promote violent extremist groups? Gizmodo wondered about this earlier this month and asked Twitter, to which the company replied that Duke is not currently a member of the KKK and has distanced himself from the organization publicly.

If youve havent seen the Netflix miniseries Unorthodox perhaps these eight Emmy nominations will convince you. The four-episode show follows Shira Haas as Esty Shapiro, a 19-year-old Jewish woman who flees an arranged marriage to try and lead a secular life. The series, which is primarily in Yiddish, is inspired by Deborah Feldmans 2012 autobiography Unorthodox: The Scandalous Rejection of My Hasidic Roots.

She decided to film the moment alongside Amit Rahav, who plays her husband in the series, because the two actors live a three-minute walk from each other in Tel Aviv.
