Experts want people to stop blaming space lasers as the cause of the wildfires raging in California an old conspiracy theory that seems to have popped up again on social media this week. Daniel Swain, a climate scientist at the Institute of the Environment and Sustainability at UCLA, on Wednesday tweeted that he was going to lose it if he kept hearing the conspiracy theory.
