Charleston Carnegie Public Library gala event. "Black, White and Read," 6 p.m. Feb. 1, Unique Suites Hotel, Banquet Room, 920 W. Lincoln Ave., Charleston. An evening celebrating the library's 110 years. Entertainment and a surprise or two.
