Palm Beach Synagogue honors donors to $10 million building project

The Palm Beach Synagogue held a dinner party to honor members of the community who have participated in the synagogues $10 million building project.

The party was held March 20 at the Palm Beach home of Nancy and Don Carter.

Special recognition was given to major benefactor, Robert M. Beren, and his children and their spouses.

Palm Beach Synagogue, which has just celebrated its 20th anniversary, has flourished into a center of Jewish life and activity in Palm Beach with more than 300 members. In the summer of 2011, the synagogue entered the last phase of its recent building renovations and the entire east facade on North County Road was transformed into a unified exterior keeping with the existing architecture.

Among those attending were Lynn Brodsky, Carol and David Feinberg, Harris Fried, June Garson, Barbara Greenwald, Giovana and Abe Haruvi, Gloria Kaylie, Rhonda Klein, Nini Krever and Eric Weiner, Jeri and Ken Kronen, William Langfan, David Phillips, Frida Reiderman, Fiona and Michael Scharf, Dinie and Rabbi Moshe Scheiner, Janet and Ken Shur, Sandra and Rick Smith, Devorah and Rabbi Didy Waks, Gayle and Armond Waxman, Lois and Martin Zelman, and Barbara T. R. Zimet.
