Synagogue takes on new name after "phenomenal growth"

A synagogue in Radlett has changed its name due to the "phenomenal growth" it has recently experienced.

Members of Radlett and Bushey Reform Synagogue decided to the name at the communitys annual general meeting. The new name is Radlett Reform Synagogue.

Principal Rabbi, Paul Freedman, said the community has experienced phenomenal growth over recent years and now has almost 800 families, totaling around 2,200 individuals.

Members live over a large geographical area throughout Hertfordshire and into neighbouring counties, so it is "misleading" to exclude Borehamwood, Shenley, and St Albans.

The synagogue also has a new logo, which has been modernised with two tone colour and the inclusion of the new community name.
