Congregation Bnai Israel of Rumson (CBI) will host a day of old-fashioned family entertainment from noon to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at Congress Hill Farm, 118 Federal Road, Monroe.

The event will take place rain or shine, and feature a lineup of activities the whole family can enjoy, including a kosher-style barbecue, outdoor sports, hayrides, nature trails for walking/biking, pony rides, handson feeding and grooming of horses, a zipline, outdoor rope course and more.

Robyn Etzler, co-chair of CBIs membership committee, said in a press release, We are looking forward to having a day to just mingle and relax with our members, friends and neighbors. Congress Hills Farm is a 200- acre hidden gem, and I am thrilled that everyone will be able to experience this unique setting this fall.

Co-chair Lester Mallet added that while it is a family day, adults without kids or grandkids will enjoy it, as well.

Congress Hill Farm is fascinating. ... We will have guided tours of the facilities and grounds as well as a talk about vegetable gardening, he said.

Registration is required by Oct. 23. The cost is $18 per family for CBI members and $36 for nonmember families.
