BBTS has partnered with the Cape Cod Writers Center to provide local authors with a dedicated retail outlet to promote and sell their work. Theyll host a Launch Party for the new program from 3 to 5 p.m. Aug. 24, and the public is invited.

Each of these authors will host a book signing at the store to promote their work. Upcoming dates: Aug. 3: Sheila McCormick (Cousin Andrew), 12-2 p.m.; Aug. 10: David Litwack (Along the Watchtower), 1-3 p.m.; Aug. 11: Frances McNamara (Death at Woods Hole), 2-4 p.m.

Titcombs Bookshop news

Aug. 5: Katrina Kenison, author of The Gift of an Ordinary Day, will discuss her latest memoir, Magical Journey: An Apprenticeship in Contentment, 7 p.m.

Aug. 19: Susan Branch, author of A Fine Romance: Falling in Love with the English Countryside, will present a book talk at 4:30 p.m. at Sandwich Town Hall, co-sponsored by Titcombs. $5, seating is limited, so advance reservations are encouraged.
