The event organised by Hyderabad-born Ragasudha Vinjamuris Sanskruti Centre for Cultural Excellence got a lot of accolades from Chief Ministers of Meghalaya, Manipur and Goa, and the Minister for Tribal Affairs, Government of India. Elaborating how it all began, Ragasudha, the Bharatanatyam danseuse, says, Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative was declared right in the middle of the pandemic and for the UK that was the second wave tattering the communities.

The goal of this tour, which was originally proposed by my good friend Garin Bedian, would be to bring the sounds of the Armenian Diaspora to our homeland and breathe new energy into a region (specifically Syunik) which has been combating border incursions and acts of aggression by Azerbaijan

The duration for which Greek passports remain valid is to be doubled to 10 years, Citizen Protection Minister Takis Theodorikakos announced while speaking on SKAI television on Thursday. He also commented on the recent fires, highlighting the role played by the police and noting that effective coordination had averted any loss of human lives. Regarding the issue of passports, he pointed out that Greece was one of a handful of countries in the EU and the world whose passports lasted just five years and that the measure the ministry has tabled in parliament will eliminate substantial financial and administrative costs
