Firstly in relation to Democracy issues within the uk, last year in August 2011 a riot errupted in different parts of the uk which was quickly labelled as yobbery by the coalition Gov where children as young as 11 were to be treated as criminals, when i believe the riots stemmed from much deeper social issues simmering within society today, more a class divide issue. Some months later the banks were exposed to have been applying risky lending practices and straight up theft of tax payers money...in the millions and all he said was''now they have to show theyve altered their behaviour.
