Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent a letter to an Israeli-American woman imprisoned in Russia on drug charges, promising to do everything in his power to secure her release. We are here in Israel, and you are in Russia, but the distance between us is bridged by the closeness of our hearts, Netanyhu wrote in the letter, a copy of which was distributed by his office. Jersey City shooters targeted Hasidic man in drive-by a week before attack The two people who stormed a kosher grocery in Jersey City and killed three people planned an assault for some time and were involved in another shooting of a Jewish person a week earlier, authorities say Monday. Anderson, 47, and Graham, 50, shot and killed Jersey City Detective Joseph Seals in a chance meeting in a cemetery on December 10, then drove to the market and killed Mindel Ferencz, 31, who owned the grocery with her husband; Moshe Deutsch, 24, a rabbinical student from Brooklyn, who was shopping there; and store employee Douglas Miguel Rodriguez
