Security officials say an explosion has hit the Egyptian pipeline that carries gas to Israel and Jordan. The Monday morning blast took place in the Sinai Peninsula, near town of El-Arish, which is just 30 miles (50 kilometers) from Israel.

Infolive.tv - News Israel - The coordinator of the Irish ship "Saoirse" bound for Gaza in the international flotilla, claimed Thursday that Israel had sabotaged the ship in a way that would result in it sinking mid-sail, and not in order to prevent it from sailing. "This was a potentially murderous act," said Dr Fintan Lane, who also owns the vessel. These sabotage claims against Israel follow on from similar claims made by the operators of the Juliano vessel, a Greek flotilla ship which also requires repair.

An Irish motor launch due to take part in the Gaza peace flotilla has, according to its Irish sponsors, been sabotaged while in dock in Turkey. They have accused Israel of being behind the act which could, in the skipper's opinion, have led to the ship sinking and endangering the crew and passengers. Last year nine Turkish activists were killed when Israeli special forces stormed a boat whose crew say they were taking humanitarian aid to Gaza

Kevin Neish, Victoria's delegate on the Freedom Flotilla II says a Swedish/Norweigan/German ship had its propeller sawed off. Neish says the organizers say it's hard not to point fingers at Israel - adding divers with special skills would have been utilized to sabotage the vessel. Neish adds delegates have been mugged and their cellular phones stolen.
