A Country Round and Square Dance will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. at the American Legion Post No. 278, 6 Clancy St., Schuylerville. Music will be provided by Ole-Time Country. The free Saratoga Jewish Festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Congress Park, Broadway, Saratoga Springs. The annual Shalom Festival will feature Israeli music, food and arts. For more information, contact 518-584-0106 or joan.gerhardt@behancom.com.

Through August, Books for Troops, Inc. is seeking comic book donations for troops overseas. Comics must be in decent condition and may be dropped off at the state Department of Motor Vehicles offices, county office complex, 40 McMaster St., Ballston Spa. Put comics in a protective bag, marked comics. For large donations, email booksfortroops@yahoo.com.

The First Baptist Church of Ballston Spa summer lunch program takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. daily through the week. The program provides free, healthy and nutritious lunches five days a week through Sept. 1 for village youngsters age 3 to 18 who receive free or reduced cost lunches during the school year. The lunches are distributed at three locations the church, 202 Milton Ave.; the Ballston Area Community Center, 20 Malta Ave.; and Kelley Park, 39 Ralph St. in the village. Therapy dog, Jasmine, to whom youngsters can read, will visit the Round Lake Librarys Clark House, 31 Wesley Ave., Round Lake, starting at 4 p.m. Parents can call the library to secure a time for their children. To schedule or for further information, call 518-899-2285.
