The Israeli rabbinical student stabbed in the head by a madman inside a famed Brooklyn synagogue was singing Hebrew songs of praise and saying it was a miracle he survived, a friend said Wednesday.
Its a miracle from God! Its a miracle from God! Levi Rosenblat, 22, repeatedly cried from his hospital bed in the ICU at Bellevue Hospital, according to his friend Mendy Notik.

Hes awake, hes talking, Notik said after visiting his pal at Bellevue, where Rosenblat was expected to make a full recovery but was still listed in serious but stable condition.
Rosenblats family was flying in from Israel to be by his side, sources said.
Meanwhile, synagogue leaders huddled with NYPD Chief of Department James ONeill to review security measures at the facility, which is open to the public 24 hours a day.

Rabbi Abe Friedman, a police liaison with the Orthodox community, who sat in on the meeting, said, Were discussing it but the grand rabbi, Rabbi Schneerson, always had an open-door policy, so its hard to say.
Rosenblat was stabbed early Tuesday by Calvin Peters, 49, of Long Island, an emotionally disturbed man with a long rap sheet who had stopped taking his medication, his family said.
An NYPD cop shot and killed the madman after he had been repeatedly ordered to drop the 9-inch knife he was brandishing, a sequence caught on a cellphone video by another student.
