Did UFOs destroy TB Joshuas building?

The recent collapse of a guest house being built by the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Lagos has generated some universal interest. This sad incident would have gone down as just another building collapse in Lagos, but it would not, because of two, nay three, reasons. Firstly, considering that the owner, Pastor T.B. Joshua, is known as a prophet and miracle worker, some are of the opinion that having predicted a number of news-making events around the globe, he would have foreseen the disaster in his own backyard. Secondly, his church is as controversial as its overseer, and has a way of attracting people from all over the world, including Westerners; and the collapsed building is a guest house for these religious tourists. Thirdly, it was reported in some media that Joshua had pointed to UFO as the cause of the building collapse.
It is this last issue that attracted my attention. It was reported that Joshua said the collapse of the guest house was a terrorist attack. He showed a clip taken from the church CCTV camera which showed a jet observed to have hovered four times around the building. The members of the church described the flying object as a strange aircraft. The video clip, which I watched many times over, shows that the jet flew past the building at 11:30am, 11:43am, 11:45am and 11:54am on that fateful day. It was after the fourth passage over the building that the structure eventually caved in at 12:44pm. He said the building might have collapsed as a result of chemical substances poured on it by way of terrorist attack.
On the surface, the explanations coming from Joshua sound outlandish at best and obtuse at worst, and have actually become a hot topic of mass ridicule in many quarters. This is worsened by emerging circumstantial evidence that the builders of the collapsed building seem not to have obtained required approval for construction. The Lagos State authorities revealed that the approval obtained for the building was for the construction of a four-storey building while the builders later added two floors on top making it six storeys without approval from the regulatory agencies.
In fact, I personally rate the collapse as one of the indicators of the Nigerian urban planning quagmire where builders go ahead and erect edifices without conducting and securing appropriate environmental impact analysis procedures and documents. For the records, the following are widely agreed reasons for building collapse in Nigeria. Firstly, building experts blame building collapse on the use of low quality building materials coupled with employment of incompetent artisans and weak supervision of workmen on site. Secondly, public opinion reveals that building collapse is due to non-compliance with specifications/standards, use of substandard building materials and equipment and the employment of incompetent contractors. Thirdly, opinions of the academia on the remote causes of building collapse show that the root causes are mainly the non-enforcement of existing laws and endemic poor work ethics of Nigerians at large.
Yet, I cannot wave Joshuas UFO/terrorist theory aside as mere gibberish. The truth is that without knowing it, the well-known prophet has opened a Pandora box, which must be properly analysed as it might become an epoch in Nigerias future paranormal narratives. What the church tagged strange aircraft may not be a human terrorist machine after all, but a paranormal flying object on a mission. And if this were the situation, the tricky question follows thus: What sort of mission? To this, Joshua must throw new light on what he knows about the said mission to destroy him and/or his ministry.
But the facts are clear that there are unidentified flying objects, in various shapes, visiting this planet from other star systems, and extraterrestrial civilisations. Their activities are becoming bolder as the days go by. Some people believe that the Malaysian airplane that disappeared without a trace in March this year could be explained as a handiwork of the UFOs.
Nevertheless, I am interested in the Synagogue UFO affair because I am a UFO researcher, and have travelled around the country; interviewed primary witnesses; and read hundreds of documents on this matter. In a phenomenon that is mostly associated with the Western world, I discovered firsthand that there are many Nigerians who have had encounters with UFOs. When I first watched the report on TV of the Synagogue building collapse, I did not give it much thought until a friend came to my office to show me the video clip of the incident. When I watched closely, I realised that what was called a jet or strange aircraft could actually be the popular cigar-shaped UFO. For those that know, UFO come in different shapes, though most are in the saucer shape which is why they are sometimes referred generically as flying saucers. A cigar-shaped UFO could appear like a military helicopter when seen from afar against the sky, rendering it nondescript and vaguely gray.
The second interesting thing is that I have worked on a case whereby a UFO witness happened to have sighted a cigar shaped UFO (two different occasions over a weeks period) in the Ikotun area of Lagos State. And this is exactly where the Synagogue church is located!
People who are UFO researchers hardly take little details for granted. I wrote an article some years ago, with the topic, Boko Haram and the UFO connection. It was based on the fact that during the time the insurgency was gathering momentum, there were a couple of cases of UFO sightings in the North-East zone of Nigeria, which I personally went to investigate. Another interesting occurrence was that I had a witness who saw a saucer-shaped UFO in a village called Izge, in Gwoza. So, it would be an understatement to say that I was shocked to my marrow when the insurgents recently declared Gwoza as their first sovereign territory.
UFO research is not cut and dried because there are always windows for doubts, inconclusive evidence, misinterpreted clues and outright hoaxes. But, there is still a general agreement that a small percentage of the UFO reports turn out to be actual unexplained aerial phenomenon. Generally speaking, UFOs are known to appear in conflict zones: some people reportedly sighted them during the Biafra War; and right now, there are reports of sightings in the Middle East. They are also seen around nuclear plants.
