Saratogas Shalom Festival: 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, Congress Park, Saratoga Springs. Arts and crafts, Shofar factory, Saratoga Art Fest, craft vendors, book maven, jewelry, face painting and more. Free and open to the public. At 2:30 p.m., there will be a walk for charity. $10, includes T-shirt. Registration and sponsor proceeds go to the oncology unit at Saratoga Hospital, Michael Fox Parkinson Disease Foundation, Saratoga Shalom Food Pantry and other Saratoga based nonprofits.
Gone With the Wind screening: 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, Charles R. Wood Theatre, 207 Glen St., Glens Falls. Hosted by Terry Rabine, producer of Lake George Dinner Theater, which is currently presenting Moonlight and Magnolias. During the films intermission, there will be a trivia contest and raffle, in which a replica of Scarletts curtains dress and a copy of the films shooting script will be raffled off, along with five pairs of tickets to Moonlight and Magnolias. Yaddo Garden tours: 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, Yaddo Rose Gardens, 312 Union Ave., Saratoga Springs. Docent led tours are held on Saturdays and Sunday during the summer and on Tuesdays throughout the racing season. Meet at the main pond at the entrance to the gardens.
