CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA The 13th Annual Multicultural Festival of Cape Cod opens at 10 a.m. on March 2 at Cape Cod Community College and runs until 4 p.m., with 17 performing acts including new Portuguese/Azorean entertainers from Rhode Island and a new Multicultural Story Center for children. This years event expands again, filling the Grossman Commons Building and the Tilden Arts Center with displays, vendors and entertainers, and spilling out into nearby campus locations with unique cultural immersion rooms and presentations. The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank Charitable Foundation Trust is the major underwriter of the event, and the Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod is in its second year as an underwriter.
